Being conscious of our carbon footprint, it is not cost effective for us to ship back any unwanted product. So, unfortunately, we don’t accept returns at this point in time. If your situation is specific, feel free to send us an email (hello@boxedwaterisbetter.com) and we can work through it together. 

When you order enough water that we can ship on a pallet (at least 30 cases of water), it saves on shipping costs. We would need to work together to make sure your delivery address can accept freight shipments.

A subscription means that your order processes automatically. It’s ideal if you want to order the same amount of water at a regular frequency (like once or twice a month). It takes one thing off your to-do list. Don’t worry, you can still adjust your order before a new shipment goes out.

We’d be sorry to see you go, but yes, you can cancel your subscription before your next order processes. If you cancel after an order has processed, that shipment will still go through - once it’s at UPS or FedEx, we can’t change it’s route. Your next order would be considered cancelled.

Packaged water should be healthy and pure. Our multi-step purification process removes all impurities, minerals, and things you don’t need. We believe it is the purest form of hydration available and consistently will provide the best taste.

Our purification process includes reverse osmosis, carbon filtration, and mineral removal for purity which gives Boxed Water its clean, crisp taste. And for product safety, we use a UV light and ozonation process. Boxed Water is free from chromium, arsenic, MTBE, chlorine, fluoride and trace pharmaceuticals.

Yes we promote the use of reusable bottles, but recognize times exist when it is not possible. We create a product for a growing market (bottled water) that lessens the environmental impact and gives back - which simply makes us ‘better’ as we say, and a step in the right direction. We are not satisfied with the status quo - R&D is core to everything we do and we’ve committed to constantly exploring new technology to lessen the impact of the portable water market while always giving back.

Our boxes are made of 100% recyclable materials. The majority of people in the US have curbside pickup for our boxes (plus juice boxes, milk cartons) and the rest have access through drop-off centers and mail-in programs. Yes! Our boxes are 100% BPA free.

With a 6.4pH, we strive to be closest to pH neutral - which we feel offers the best hydration for your body. Our 8-step water process includes reverse osmosis, carbon filtration and UV light treatment - we feel the purest available, with no added minerals. We are happy to share our water report with all the specifics on our water, just send us a message.

The aluminium foil serves as a barrier to light, flavor, and oxygen, which enables the contents to last for months without preservatives or refrigeration. The polyethylene acts as a water-tight barrier and helps keep our box’s shape.

Our caps are installed with a safety “crack” feature. When you open the container, you should hear a slight crack as the seal is broken.

Nope, our product does not contain any sodium. We think pure water is the best water.

What a cool idea! However, we do not make custom boxes at this time.
