How do you incorporate sustainability into daily life, especially during the school year?
It always starts with the little things that can impact and grow into bad habits. So, with our kids, we always teach them to recycle, we reuse clothes by having gender-neutral options, and we do our best not to be wasteful. One main thing we are teaching them is not to have the water running while brushing their teeth! They have caught on quickly to conserve water while getting ready for school.
Why do you think it's important for parents to choose eco-friendly products for school lunches?
It is so essential to choose eco-friendly products for school lunches! There are so many children attending school each year. Imagine the big impact we can make per household if we chose to use eco-friendly products. Change starts from the home.
How can incorporating products like Boxed Water into back-to-school routines serve as a practical way to promote sustainability among students and families?
It is definitely a conversation starter just by the packaging alone! It stands out and demands attention and change. Through our children using Boxed Water, one small encounter during school lunch can influence other children to ask their parents for Boxed Water as well.
What advice do you have for those enthusiastic about contributing to the environment but uncertain about their first steps?
I'd advise not to overthink it. It only leads to spiraling and causes us to not make any changes at all. Start with the little things, like Boxed Water!

Long-term benefits definitely include providing a safe space for future generations to come. It also helps us think of new ways to help our environment through how we eat and how we travel.
