Is the inside lined with plastic or any glaze or material? Any phalates or is BPS a common BPA replacment used??: We’re so glad you asked-great questions. Our cartons are BPA free. Our box is made of 92% renewable plant-based materials, which is the highest you can find in the water aisle! The rest is 5% aluminum and 3% BPA-free plastic, both of which are necessary to maintain the integrity of the packaging. The aluminum lining doesn’t contaminate the water in any way. The foil is a barrier to light, flavor and oxygen, enabling our water to stay pure and crisp for months without added minerals. Similar to a juice box, it preserves the shape of our box and acts as a watertight barrier. The Boxed Water Team
