Do you have a case of the mid-Winter blues? Not for long! It’s time to grab the family and head to the New York Open men’s tennis tournament.
You heard it here, Boxed Water is coming to Long Island as the official water sponsor of the New York Open! As always, our goal is to provide the purest hydration to players and attendees in the most sustainable way, pssst… that’s not single-use plastic bottles!
This 9-day tournament will be held at NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum and also home of the legendary black courts (have you heard #backtoblack?!). The festivities will begin on February 9th with a player party featuring celebrity Chef David Burke and will conclude with championship matches on Sunday, February 17th. We’ll be there the whole time and we hope you will join us!
If you’re asking yourself what this tournament is, it is one of the only ten men’s professional tennis tournaments in the United States. The New York Open debuted on Long Island in 2018 as a part of the ATP World Tour 250 Series and continues as an annual competition. Twenty-eight single athletes and sixteen doubles will compete for over $700,000 in prize money. Players include last years champion, Kevin Anderson, as well as John Isner, Bryan Brothers, Sam Queerey, Jack Sock and others.
